the HUD CoC Competition NOFO FY 2021

Treasure Coast Homeless Services Council Continuum of Care (FL-509) has provided the Request for Project Applications (RFA) and NOFO Timeline via public notice on 09/01/2021. This notice is available for any interested parties in Indian River, St. Lucie or Martin Counties, FL to submit an application for HUD Continuum of Care funding under the FY 2021 CoC NOFO.

The link below will take you to the Notice of Funding Availability (NOFO) for the FY 2021 Continuum of Care (CoC) Program. HUD is making available approximately $2.656 billion in Fiscal Year 2021 for the CoC Program. The CoC Program is designed to promote a community-wide commitment to the goal of ending homelessness; to provide funding for efforts by nonprofit providers and local governments to quickly re-house homeless individuals, families, persons fleeing domestic violence, and youth while minimizing the trauma and dislocation caused by homelessness; to promote access to and effective utilization of mainstream programs by homeless individuals and families; and to optimize self-sufficiency among those experiencing homelessness.

08/18/2021: HUD NOFO 2021 is released to all Continuums of Care Lead Agencies

09/01/2021: The application timeline will be published to the Treasure Coast Homeless Services Council, Inc. Website – tchelpspot.org.

09/23/2021Mandatory Workshop via ZOOM for all CoC project Applicants. Overview of NOFO application, timeline, priority and ranking process of 2021 NOFO.

10/15/2021:  Deadline for all Project Applications (renewal and new) to be submitted to the CoC. (No later than 30 days before the application deadline)

10/18/2021: Treasure Coast Homeless Services Council, Inc. to receive applications from all applicants and forward to Ranking Committee for prioritization into Tier Funding.

11/01/2021: Final ranking notification due to all applicants.

 11/12/2021: Completed 2021 Consolidated Application posted to Website

 11/16/2021:  NOFO 2021 Collaborative Application due to HUD
