ABOUT US
The Treasure Coast Homeless Services Council, Inc. (TCHSC) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that proudly serves as the lead agency for the HUD-designated Continuum of Care (CoC) for Indian River, St. Lucie, and Martin Counties in Florida. As the backbone of regional planning and coordination, TCHSC works to ensure a strategic, data-informed, and equitable response to homelessness across the Treasure Coast.
Our mission is simple yet urgent: to prevent and end homelessness in our communities, and when it does occur, to ensure it is rare, brief, and non-recurring. Through a robust network of programs, services, and initiatives—spanning from housing placement to legal aid to system-wide coordination—TCHSC actively works to break cycles of housing instability.
With a commitment to collaboration and innovation, we coordinate and partner with more than 60 local service providers, nonprofit organizations, faith-based groups, and government entities. Together, we strive to address not only immediate needs but also the root causes of homelessness, advancing sustainable solutions that uplift individuals, strengthen families, and foster resilient communities.
