New!    We are now a HUD Approved Housing Counseling Agency

The Treasure Coast Homeless Services Council, Inc. (TCHSC)
provides homeless prevention, supportive services and permanent housing to individuals on the Treasure Coast.

The Council is made up of Member Agencies that collaborate to meet the needs of the homeless and near homeless in our communities.

The TCHSC and partner agencies prepare the annual Point in Time Survey. This provides information about unduplicated individuals who are literally homeless on a given night. The survey is prepared annually during the last 10 days in January. This information is used to prepare the annual Continuum of Care (CoC) plan.

Since 1999, the Council has obtained over $20 million dollars in federal funding to meet the needs of the homeless on the Treasure Coast.

Treasure Coast Homeless Services Council provides direct services through its Resource Center. The Resource Center provides information and referral, as well as homeless prevention, permanent supportive housing and mortgage delinquency and default resolution counseling. The Neighborhood Stabilization Program provides affordable housing to families at or below 120% of AMI.

Since September 2009, the Resource Center and partner agencies have served over 4300 unduplicated individuals with the Homeless Prevention and Rapid Re-Housing Program (HPRP).

TCHSC also administers the Homeless Management Information System (HMIS). The HMIS system tracks all services provided by each Agency for each client.

Treasure Coast Homeless Services Council, Inc. is a 501(c)(3)
